Get an alteration
You need to carefully consider whether your proposed development will require an alteration to NIE's existing equipment. Works in the vicinity of NIE electrical equipment, whether underground or overhead, can be dangerous.
NIE strongly advises that Site Safety must be in accordance with HSE Guidance Note GS6 (Avoidance of Danger from Overhead Lines) and HSE Booklet HS (G) 47 (Avoiding Danger from Underground Services).
